What will they think of next! Doctors have come up with a novel idea to inject people with botox to treat skin eczema. Although people reported an improvement with their eczema after receiving botox injections, using botox to treat eczema or anything else for that matter, is in our opinion, just another sign of negligent medical practice. Botox is fundamentaly a toxin protein that is found in botulism food poisoning. What will these geniuses do next?
The wrinkle jab Botox may be an effective treatment for itchy skin conditions including eczema, according to new research.
Last month, doctors at Edinburgh University found that a woman who had suffered with itching on her arms and torso for 12 years reported a dramatic reduction in symptoms lasting six months after having Botox injections in the affected areas.
In a second case, a 55-year-old woman whose forehead had itched for six years was also successfully treated with the injection. And the University of Jena in Germany has reported that Botox provided a 12-fold reduction in symptoms in patients suffering with hand eczema.

You cannot see me, but I am shaking my head in utter disgust, that they actually aim to use botox to treat skin conditions. I really do hope this is never passed and will never be administered to treat eczema. There is no scientific evidence or understanding about the long term effects having botox treatments will have on peoples health in the long term…. Oh.. you have eczema, try some botox, your skin will be better, but you will have poison in your body that could cause some major health problems later down the line. Just look at what happened with the breat implants scandal recently. Do you honestly think this is a good idea?
