There are many ways in which acne can be kept under control. People suffering from acne should be happy because acne does not harm a person’s physical health. Even though it is not pleasant to suffer from an acne condition, it can disappear very quickly.
It’s only disadvantage is that it can affect your mental capacity especially when it comes to self esteem.
Do not be obsessed
Most people develop acne during their teenage years and during this period of time everything matters to young people. It is during this period that young people care so much about their appearance and would not want anything portraying them in a bad light. Stress has been confirmed to aggravate skin acne because it leads to a snowball effect: a teenager will get worried over a pimple which makes it break down into two.
Every teenager should cope with acne by accepting that the problem is there and can be dealt with effectively, and should try to remain positive and move on with life and look forward to the future.

If you are a teenager with the acne condition, you should not shy away from life simply because you are suffering from acne. Instead, make the effort to stay happy and ensure you continue to move forward safe in the knowledge that your condition is only temporary and will not be around forever.
Know the type of skin that you have
If you are not sure of your skin type, it would be advisable to seek help. There are four different types of skin types: normal, oily, dry and combination skin. Knowing the type of skin that you have will enable you care for your skin accordingly. A general principle that all should apply is to wash your face daily regardless of the type of skin that you have. If you have an oily skin it is advisable not to over wash your skin because this will cause your skin to dry up hence making it crack. Always keep your skin moisturized.
Precaution should however be taken on the type of moisturizer you will use. Its best to use a natural moisturiser thats free of an type of chemicals, such as almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, honey treatments to name a few. Lets not forget that foods high in vitamin b complex also help with maintaining the quality of your skin and helping you towards becoming acne free.
Do not touch or pick your skin
Our hands are the dirtiest parts of our bodies. Everything we touch is contaminated with germs and touching the face only transmits bacteria to our faces hence making acne to be worse.
Exercise
Does exercise really help acne? In fact it is a good way of controlling acne because it makes us relax. It enables the body to sweat out all impurities and toxins clearing our pores and making them not to clog.
