Is There a Link Between Candida Albicans and Skin Conditions?

Close

Is There a Link Between Candida Albicans and Skin Conditions? Is there a link to candida albicans and skin conditions? This article by hitta frisör Varberg will hopefully go some way towards addressing this but first lets get some basic understanding about what it actually is. Candida Albicans also known as yeast infection, is what we call an opportunistic organism that is present in our skin and mucous membranes but can also travel through into our blood streams. They are called opportunistic because these fungi just lay in waiting for an attack and commonly manifests as oral thrush or vaginal infections.   As with acne and other skin conditions, there are a number of different factors that increase the stimulation of Candida Albicans growing out of control, such as refined carbohydrates which include sugar, white flour. One of the biggest and leading causes of candida is the overuse of antibiotics. But is there a direct link between candida albicans and skin conditions? Note that the candida can grow like a plant and break through your intestinal walls so that it feeds toxins directly into your blood stream. Candida growth is encouraged when your blood pH is acidic so you should avoid eating a lot of acidic forming foods. The acidic environment enables the Candida to grow faster which secretes more mycotoxins into your blood stream, burdening your body’s elimination organs even more. Controlling Candida alone can have a significant effect in the reduction of acne formation and other health conditions. Overall Candida cohabits with the many types of bacteria in our bodies, some of them keeping the balance to keep candida from flourishing. With the overuse of antibiotics, it can in fact destroy our friendly bacteria which allows the yeast infection to flourish. Medical experts say that fungi invade only when our immune system is low, but we know this to be not entirely accurate, as candida can still thrive in someone with a relatively strong immune system, but the weaker the immune system is, the quicker it can take hold and spread to other parts of the body and organs and consequently compromising our overall health. Is your candida problem (yeast infection) causing your acne outbreaks? There are some cases where people have both candida infections and acne outbreaks but neither is causing the other. Oftentimes, adverse reaction to contraceptives and other synthetic medications can cause either of the two as well. Medical science experts have not established a link between these two conditions and prescription drugs used for each problem are different. What to do in case of candida infection or acne outbreaks? Most people would seek the advice of their doctors when confronted with issues regarding health, regardless of what plagues them. This is well and good as most of these medical practitioners have sufficient training to deal with what ails us. However, we should remember that prescription drugs are synthetic in nature and its prolonged use may cause side effects that may be, more often than not, harmful […] Click To Read More »

Diet Nutrition

Good Nutrition Helps Fight Acne

Close

Conventional medicine defines acne as a skin disease characterised by the formation of red spots, pimples, cysts or papules and other similar formations in skin areas that have a high concentration of sebaceous follicles but nothing about the fact that nutrition helps fight acne. These are follicles that contain sebaceous oil glands and are common on the face, upper chest and back. Holistic medical practitioners, on the other hand, see acne as a symptom of imbalances in the body’s internal system and whom state that nutrition helps fight acne. The holistic or natural treatment solutions target the issues causing acne as a method of treatment whereas most conventional medical practitioners offer solutions to treat the acne itself, that is, they prescribe medication to suppress the pimples, spots, cysts or acne. The connection between your diet and the development of acne is not easy to pin point but there are several factors that support the formation of acne that can be linked to the food you eat or don’t eat. Only the holistic approach to acne can really determine what foods can trigger or aggravate your acne and what nutritional program would be suitable to follow if you want to get rid of your acne for good. It has been found that there are three major contributing factors to the development of acne in any individual. These are; Hormonal Imbalances Genetic Tendencies Build-up of Toxins in the Body When these three factors exist simultaneously in a person’s body, you create what is referred to as an ‘Acne Environment’. Natural medicine solutions to acne are geared towards controlling these three factors rather than the superficial treatment of the skin’s appearance. Genetic tendencies refer to the way a person’s body reacts to different stimuli and is the main difference between people who are prone to acne and those who aren’t. Hormonal secretions regulate the production of sebaceous oil which when over produced, clog the skin pores and trigger acne. When there are imbalances in hormone production, like during pregnancy and puberty, you are likely to develop acne. Build-up of toxins in your body is directly related to your diet and is the factor that is most easily controlled. Genetic tendencies cannot be controlled externally and hormonal imbalances are also complicated to handle. The good news is that controlling any one of these three factors will result in the elimination of acne from your skin. By taking control of your diet and actively following a cleansing program and maintaining a beneficial healthy diet, you can live without acne for the rest of your life, simply by knowing what gets rid of spots. Dietary Influences on Acne Organs of Elimination The main problem that causes a build-up of toxins in a body is the blockage of the primary organs or channels of elimination of waste. When your body cannot eliminate waste and unnecessary hormones from your body via the normal channels, namely, the liver, bowels and kidneys, it uses alternative routes such as your skin and lungs. When it uses […] Click To Read More »

Just as there are preparations that are made for various other activities that we do with our bodies, such as a workout at the gym, so should we prepare our bodies and minds for the detoxification system. In other words, detoxifying our bodies can take a toll if we don’t prepare ourselves. Two good ways to do something like this is through the use of meditation and yoga. The doctor suggests, “When people are under psychological or physical stress, maybe they aren’t eating as well, maybe they aren’t getting enough sleep, maybe they’re not taking their makeup off at night.” So, stress may not be directly causing the breakout that you’re freaking out about, but something is. The best way to reduce the chance of breaking out (while under stress or not) is to make sure you are taking good care of your body, eating healthy, getting enough sleep, taking off your makeup before bed, and using a skin-care regimen that works for you. Original Source Body Detox At Home Years and years of toxin build up from air pollution, food additives, toxic chemicals used in purifying drinking water and in home cleaners can lead to sluggishness, weak immune system, allergies, general fatigue and other negative health effects. The Skin Benefits of Detoxing

Cleansing your body and getting rid of toxins has a lot of benefits such as improved bodily functions, and will also help clear your skin. Read the articles below to discover more  about the benefits of detoxing and how it can help with your acne problems. Accutane Acne Detox Or Cleanse Your Body To Heal Acne Various skin conditions are related to increased toxicity in the body. The body has its own detoxification system by which it throws out blood-borne toxins called allergens. When this internal detoxification system is impaired due to some reason, the toxins produced through the metabolic process start accumulating in various organs and give rise to illness which may vary from skin conditions like acne to serious illness like cancer. Almost all of skin diseases or disorders are caused by the failure of internal detoxification process. Acne, eczema, psoriasis, hives and seborrheic dermatitis have been known to be caused by allergens. All these skin conditions can be improved by detoxification, but it must be accompanied with nutrition management, as only removing the toxins is not enough for health. The essential nutrients should also be replaced which become depleted with the process of toxin accumulation in the body.   Original source Detoxing For Clear Acne Free Skin In the past, doctors did not believe that diet played a role in acne development. However, they are beginning to take a different view, according to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. The turnabout is due to the discovery that acne is virtually nonexistent among people living in remote jungle areas. They do not eat foods such as beef, dairy, sugar and wheat—all of which are popular foods in a modern diet. The bottom line is that altering your diet to clear acne can benefit your skin—and your overall health. Step 1 Eliminate or reduce dairy products because these products contain hormones that activate oil glands in your skin and exacerbate your acne, explains the AOCD. Substitute other calcium-rich foods to make sure you’re getting enough of this bone-strengthening nutrient. Eat more green leafy vegetables, canned fish with soft bones, calcium-fortified foods and almonds.   Original source Acne Detox Treatment detoxing is essentially clearing your liver and kidneys of toxins that you take in through your diet and your environment. Slow metabolisms are especially linked with acne problems, because toxins are in the body for a longer period of time. The goal of a detox plan is to use food and water to speed up your metabolism so that you can filter out acne-causing toxins.
