I am sure if you have or have suffered with a skin condition such as acne, that you’ve heard the name Accutane or Roaccutane? We have a page specifically about it due to the horrendous side effects! This acne treatment drug, in our opinion, is and was a massive medical health catastrophe . Although there continues to be many lawsuits against Roche and other pharmaceutical companies who created their own generic form after the drug patent had expired, a new petition is being made that threatens Roche yet again, concerning the link between the drug and IBD.
The prescription drug Accutane, which was used to help treat severe acne, was withdrawn from the market in 2009 by manufacturer Hoffman-LaRoche after an increasing number of patients sought the advice of an Accutane lawyer in regard to filing an Accutane lawsuit. Many of these patients suffered from Accutane inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a serious gastrointestinal condition that causes life-altering symptoms.
As Accutane lawsuit plaintiffs continue to file claims against drug maker Roche, a new health petition is gathering signatures at Change.org, with signers showing their support for an online letter to Roche to “tell the truth” and “come clean” on Accutane inflammatory bowel disease.
The sad thing is, this drug is still available from doctors and dermatologists under its generic name Isotretinoid. This to me just demonstrates that there is more importance placed on money than that of patient care and health. There does not seem to be a real concern about your actual health, given that this drug is linked to IBD (irritable bowel syndrome) that cannot be cured if caused by accutane, and suicides. This is just a couple of the long list of horrendous and horrific side effects. No wonder they have law suits in thier 100s being made. What do you think about this aticle?
